Great value, large portions and food made fresh. Authentic Malaysian food in Croydon. I’d recommend curry laksa and teh tarik, just like home. Friendly staff but cash only.

Uncle Lim’s is a must if you love Malaysian food. We have become reasonable regulars to this lovable place. The ambience feels much better than the Old Whitgift centre one as it feels more cozy. The service is amazing, homely feel from the moment you go through the door and the food is scrumptious!! Top fav - Egg fried rice with Prawn and green beans!! Nasi goreng is lip smacking!! Relished every bite. Thank you for the hospitality, Sarah and crew!! See you soon.

Me and my partner went for lunch as we haven't been since left whitgift centre. Staff are incredibly friendly and polite and as for the food it is so fresh and lovely. We had Salt and pepper squid, chicken curry laksa and king prawn vermicelli noodles. Great portion sizes and amazing flavour. Thank you we will be back more often

Authentic Malaysian canteen style food based inside the whitgift centre directly above the main entrance on the first floor. Decor was simple and reminded me of a Malaysian canteen. Friendly service and although food took a while (we were told there would be a bit of a wait as it was busy) the food was worth the wait. We ordered the curry laksa and the wat dan hor (fried flat rice noodles with seafood layered with a creamy egg gravy on top. Will definitely be back to order the other dishes.

We placed an order for collection tonight. There was a bit of a mix up but the lady working in the restaurant sorted it all out and was very helpful. It was worth the wait as the food was delicious. Will definitely be coming back.

We went for lunch and left as happy customers. The food was authentic and delicious and not oily at all. Staff were pleasant and friendly and the meal was reasonably priced. We had the curry laksa and fried noodles. We would definitely come back and try other things on the menu.
